Sequential Batch Reactor with Supernatant Displacement
The Improved Sewage Treatment Plant System
D' SBR
D stands for displacement. SBR stands for Sequential Batch Reactor. Instead of decanting the supernatant, the supernatant is allowed to be displaced via a special fixed overflow weir.
D’SBR eliminates the mechanical problems post by the mechanical decanting weir.
Unique Features
- 3 STEPS IN A CYCLE:
- Filling and displacement
- Aeration (longer hours)
- Sedimentation
- Decanting weir replaced by non mechanical weir
- No maintenance required for non- mechanical weir.
Advantages
- Lower O&M cost.
- Lower M&E capital cost.
Advantages of D'SBR
ONLY 3 STEPS IN THE D'SBR SYSTEM
LESSER CYCLE, LONGER TREATMENT PROCESS IMPROVES PERFORMANCE EFFICIENCY
A PATENT PENDING PE*WEIR ELIMINATES MECHANICAL COMPLICATIONS
THE M&E CAPITAL COST OF D’SBR IS THE CHEAPEST
